Welp, I also have T1 on DVD and it looks OK. I wuold like a special edition, but lets face it, T2 is where it's at with that. I cant wait until August 28 for the SE to come out. Anybody want an regular edition of T2 BTW? on DVD of course

Army of Darkness looks great on DVD, naturally I have the Special Edition as well. Galaxy quest is an OK movie, but the Omega 13 thing just cracked me up big time.

BTW, apreciate the Blade RUnner info. I guess I'm happy with the Directors cut. Dunno, just seems right to me the way it is.

      Genom:

Which Omega 13 thing... the whole concept, or the thing on the main menu that just rewinds the intro?

      Brian R:

Not only hadn't I seen T1 until today (when I went specifically looking for it), but yes - Dolby Mono is not acceptable for any movie produced after... oh... 1965.

The thing that it rewinded the intro. Just made me laugh. Stupid thing but I am easaly amused

And the mono thing is kinda sucky. I was especially disapointed when I bought Full Metal Jacket and found the same thing.

I don't want the Blade Runner director's cut until I can get a dual-layer CD with BOTH versions. 'Cuz sometimes I like a happy ending, ya know?

Great photos, Helevitia! (I really like your name - reminds me of Switzerland) Who took them?
              Your boomstick is nice, too...

By the way - and desperately trying to show that I will suceed in life as a movie director and/or creative artist in all admired artforms as photography, design, painting, movies, etc. - I worked in the production of a TV commercial last month whose director was Max Modray - one of the 2 directors of photography of BLADE RUNNER!!! (I haven´t checked this out yet - is this true?)

How´s that for an incredible thing?

Labyrinth, great puppets, didn't like the singing bit though, I prefer David Bowie in movies without him singing. The man who fell to earth was good.

Re: Blade Runner, just want the DC, already saw the normal version. Rented a movie recently about clones with the same best after theme, Johny #2 I think the name was.

Gurm - Beside the unicorn vision, did you notice that Decckard was in love with historical family photographs?

Any of you guys get Apocalypse Now on DVD? And if so, what were the major differences? Is it a directors cut or something?

As for Blade Runner, those little "hints" that Deckard may have been a replicant were extremely sublte and for me, added nothing to the movie. Still on the great movies of all time though.

"Apocalypse Now" is great. No special add-ins that I know of.

                              "Jeronimo" is great also.
