Ok all, I know you don't particularly care, but I want to talk/type.

Here goes.... Right now I am 5'10" and 135 lbs on a good day. My goal by the end of the year is 200 lbs without stereroids and other shit like that. Pure 65 lbs of muscle mass! Wish me luck.

Dimitri.... I only heard of one guy who gained that much muscle that fast. I believe his name was Bruce Banner

Maybe you should head on over to the Marvel website for some workout and diet plans, but you may not be happy with the side-effects

It took me 2 years to gain 15 kg´s (about half of what you´re trying) but I didn´t follow any diet plans, I just worked out. So it either takes patience or hard work and strict dieting to gain that kind o´ muscle if you really are serious.

But lots of luck to ya´!

Creatine works good as an alernative to steroids. But one thing is to not overtrain. You need rest to grow and too many people who are tryng to gain mass overtrain so their muscles are always in a constant state of recovery from intense workouts. Also get some Twin Labs Gainers Fuel, that will help put on some weight and help recover from workouts.

Your lucky to have a fast metabolism and not have the opposite problem of being overweight. Your also young, I didn't reach 200 lbs. till I was in my late 30's. So don't worry so much about your body weight and just make sure you work everything and try to eat a low fat diet. It's much better to be lean and mean in the long run than to turn yourself into an overweight slob just to get big.

Usually when I want to get some weight on, I drink lots of beer

But since Dimi wants to be a lean, mean, women machine, you'd better press weights and eat all the healthy food your momma wants you to

So no more Mickey D. And no more Tequilla on the rocks, with a slice of lime and salted rim on the glass. And no more late night sna(c)k(e)s. And go to bed early, jog at least 15 miles in the morning, starting from 4 am.

              Yeah right...

              Jord.

It should be called muscle farming, not body building. The point about rest between workouts is very important, you can't harvest if you are constantly planting. the time between workouts varies depending on where you body is at, starting off I'd suggest once a week, and stick to that for quite a while. Eat a lot of pizza, too much meat is a waste of money, your body only digests a portion of it at a time anyway, a lot of smaller steaks or porkchops is better than one huge feed, you need a balanced diet to keep everything moving along. *Cough* It's not an eating contest, it's about farming. You also have to change your habbits, if you're like me you forget to eat while at the computer for extended periods of time, living off of the sugar in your coffee is not a good thing. I think that most people with high metabolism try to speed up to gain more weight, what they have to do is slow down. Like more things dealing with humans it's perversly backwards. The more you want something the harder it is to get it.

Also, you gain weight as you get older, perhaps all you have to do is wait and you'll see more pounds appear.

                [5' 10", 190lbs, but I still look like a stick. ]

                    LOL

You guys are great! Have I mentioned that lately?

I'm just goin back to my regular workout which I've been off and on for the past 6 months....

                    Day 1 = Chest/triceps/abs/cardio
                    Day 2 = Back/biceps/abs/cardio
Day 3 = Shoulders/legs/abs/cardio (and I'm actually going to do these this time. I HATE shoulder workouts.... )

Hey Dimitri, you might want to read a book called "Body For Life" by Bill Phillips (ISBN 0-06-019339-5)... not to encourage you to use his plan (though I have seen it work amazingly for someone I know), but because it does have many useful concepts for increasing fitness and building muscle.

Looked at your pic in the other thread, btw, your arms are fabulous, and I don't really see that you need much improvement ... but I can imagine what you're going for, and I can see why you might want to go there.

So, more power to you... restart your workouts, and like Himself says, don't eat so much at once and rest between workouts for a couple of days, it is very important to give your body time to build with the materials you have provided it.

Good luck on your trip from "good-looking guy" to "fabulous-looking guy"

                        A couple of things...

Careful of the creatine - you tend to retain water with it, which can make up most of the (apparent) muscle mass gain. Also, if you're going to do creatine & load up on the protein, be sure to drink LOTS of water or your liver will have probs with it.

Also, you need to throw some compound exercises in there (squats, clean & jerk, etc). Those are the real mass builders.

You've got a 6 month goal - I suggest two 3 month segments - first 3 months, heavy & fewer reps (build size), last 3 months, lighter & more reps (cutting phase).

The most important thing is to feed your body what it needs to grow - protein.

                            Muad'Dib,

I'm a poultry 6'1" (185 cm) and weigh in at around 300 lbs. (~140 kg). Although I do have a belly, it's not that big. Think of me as a defensive lineman in American Football, which I am, so I know all about putting on muscle mass, and mass in general, all at the same time.

Be careful that you don't put on muscle mass to quickly. You will need to give your body time to adjust to supporting more muscle mass. Also be sure you do a lot of cardiovascular exersizes such as running or biking. They will increase you endurance and your ability to work your body more. Because of my size I do biking, but you seem to have a runners frame.

If your looking to build muscle mass, and aren't too worried about being a hulk, do lots of reps at a lower weight. My bench press max is in the neighborhood of 300 lbs (~140 kg), but when I workout I rep at 200 lbs in sets of ten.

If you want any more workout tips email me.
