a slugfest?? Gosh, we haven't had one in ages!!! Maybe it is time you go sit somewhere else than in the same room with me and be online at my same times

Then again, I won't be online that much after this, haven't been online that much the past couple of weeks etc. Holly knows why, and no, for all the voyeurs still peeking in, it wasn't because of (all under 16, close your eyes!!) prolonged sexual activities that we might or might not have been doing...

So, what is my point? Is there a point to have in a thread which doesn't have a point anymore? We now know Dimi doesn't like mornings, I gave him a clue and excuse to get rid of them, so the point's gone, so my post here is pointless, so I'm rambling, yet I am still using punctuations, unless others who don't even care about i or I, comma's or full stops

We could turn this thread into one with the longest running sentence with complete nonsense, that makes sense to the people reading it, because they can still follow the line, as the person or persons writing, use punctuations while I do the cooking. How's that?

Jord.

I know one thing. When Dimitri sees this thread now, he will unleash more expletives on you than he did on me. I only got 3 out of him, but I am pretty sure that he is typing the "F word" over and over right now.
This thread from here on out will most likely be rated "R". So, if you are under 18 and not accompanied by an adult, please leave.

Or it must be to have people like Space7 and andrei around who at that time didn't have ICQ yet and used the thread to chat.
The bad thing was that we used Jorden's threads to chat
Ok, now I must stop reading this thread, I'm still under 18 and my parents have something else to do right now

Boy, whether you like reading stuff that you really don't care about or not, this has been a lot of fun to keep up with.

My point in posting this was simply to say I don't like mornings! That was it. Whether anyone particularly cared was not the issue. If you didn't care, why are you reading it? That's not my point anymore. This has been a dead thread ever since I "blew up" at Kindness. It has now become more a thread about nothing than ever before.

LET IT DIE!

Jord - rename your damn forum anything you'd like, but keep me out of it. If no one wants my posts, I'll shut up.

Isn't that what everybody has been saying since the beginning?? Nothing like a conversation about nothing, except a conversation about something.

Actually your subject was You know what I REALLY hate!?!

It had nothing to do with mornings. So as long as we stick with that subject we are sticking to the subject of this thread. Whether it be about mornings or not. So people who hate talking about nothing...Welcome, take your aggression out on who you wish, or hate...

You know what I really hate ?
Trackballs... My mouse's sensors just got screwed and the only thing left to use was an A4Tech trackball (no PC shop opened tomorrow ). One hour of Diablo 2 with it made me scream in agony.

Jus keeping it on topic

Well, you know what I really hate?

"Ripper"... I can't believe that there's an adventure game I hate worse than Phantasmagoria, but there you go.

Worse yet, it has a wonderful cast (Christopher Walken, Karen Allen, Jimmie Walker, John Rhys-Davies, Ossie Davis, among others), music by Blue Oyster Cult... all to take up 6(!!) CDs of the most uninteresting puzzle-fest I have ever tried to wade through (and I've played both 7th Guest and 11th Hour). Oh yeah, there's some kind of freaky cyber-combat thrown in, and you guys know I can't even strafe, so that just completely tears it for me.

I HATE adventure games with puzzles unrelated to the convoluted plot (all right, I know it's a murder mystery, but so are the Tex Murphy games and they manage to at least be interesting while they don't make sense!), obscure or missing directions/hints on the puzzle objectives, every blasted Sierra "timed-puzzle" ending (KQ3, for instance--where the whole d*mn thing is a timed puzzle and who bothered to tell you that?-- not to mention Gabriel Knight 2 and 3, and Phantasmagoria, which at least had a final cinematic that was actually almost worth it), and EVERY BLOODY CHESS PUZZLE EVER INCLUDED IN A GAME (except the one in Zork Grand Inquisitor).

I hate it that "adventure" games are so often just graphic representations of some "500 Toughest Mind-Teasers" book, instead of integrated 'adventurous' experiences.

I hate that most of them give me some kind of display problem using my MAX (due to either age, or the quirks of the MAX, or both), requiring extensive tweaking that usually doesn't solve the problem completely.

And I hate it that WinME has no DOS. Now I have no logo.sys. Dagnabit, that really cheeses me off!!!!

How's that, Strahd?

(Felt good, btw! )

Hear her... I've had that game since it came out, yet never solved it, for I couldn't find a walk-through... First thing she did was get the walk-through through the game... hmmm, that's how I can play it as well
