Gee, I'm not sure. Just pick one of the 13 threads that you have started in the last 3 days. A little nothing is fine and I enjoy the occasional "Don't Look Here" thread as much as the next guy. It has just gotten a little extreme lately. Brian is right. This forum is not worth reading these days.

HAHA!!! YES! I, the keeper of the Fabulous Nothing Jar (TM), bring forth the Jar for all to gape at in awe! Hmm, maybe thats not awe, looks more like confusion actually.

So, I can take nothing out of the thread and stick it in the jar, or(heaven forbid) I can dump a whole bunch of nothing into the thread(I'm not sure I want to encourage this thread with more nothing though )

I say we should be able to talk about whatever the hell we want to on this forum. If you don't like any of the subjects, MAKE YOUR OWN. One that interests you. If people like it, they'll duke it out with you and you can enjoy your Soap Box euphoria.

I think you should complain to the maker of the brand of soap that is being contained in these boxes.

Something to keep in mind however, this is an international forum, talking about local US issues all the time is a bit boring for those of us who don't live there. I'm sure there are more interesting things to talk about than who the next person getting their weinie waxed in the white house is going to be, epecially this election where you have a choice between boring and stupid.

Somewhere I got the feeling I got nothing to say about this, but to the subject of Guru posting lots of threads because there's no-one jumping into them at the same moment:
Why not post one thread and answer that one all the time yourself? If you feel you need to do something in TSB, you could do better by starting one thread about nothingness (not like the thread about nothing, for there's really nothing in there, since I bumped the Nothing Jar, and it swallowed lots of posts .. Then again, if Ian had it screwed down tighter, it couldn't have happened )

About Joel and his political views: He's entitled to have his own view on politics, and we can either ignore it (or them politics as well), or start a debate about it. He might be the mod of this forum, but he's still free to voice his own feelings, just as everyone else here is

If you don't like what you read after the initial post, or a couple of posts behind it, leave that thread alone and look for other stuff to do. Play some of your favorite games, or read a book. Watch some TV, a DVD, or a video. Go for a walk in the park or whatever.

There's so much more on this world than just the MURC that you can feel bad about. Don't let it go to your head

I was bored to death! I'm sorry if I offended anyone!

You don't see me complaining about topics I don't find interesting! And as Jammrock said if you think this forum is not worth reading then make it worth it! However judging from the above posts I doubt that can bee done since the topics obviously cannot contain , political discussions (or discussions of any kind for that matter), jokes, nothingless, cheese , beer, chicks, pictures, music, animals, cars, junk, etc.! So go on make a interesiting topic abaut dog food or whatever you find interesting!!!!!

                    Edit:Sorry I do that when I'm upset!

                          mmmmm....Daisy Duke....

I love the political and religious discussions we have here. There are a tremendous amount of people from outside the US and that gives me exactly the type of across-the-board information I love.

This is not directed at anyone, but I agree wholeheartedly with whoever it was that said that people who are not solid enough in their beliefs have the most trouble with those topics.

Friday, I had a few beers with a guy I work with. He's from India (been in the states barely a year now). To listen to him justify arrange marriages just made me shake my head. It was, however, very interesting to hear him talk about them in relation to his culture, which is VASTLY different from mine.

I don't have to agree with it, but boy do I learn from it.

Generally speaking, I think everyone is quite level-headed in here when talking about controversial topics. *applauds*

A "spelling-checker" is something I really would need I sometimes find it hard to be understood because of my bad English! I usually have to changes the way I write thing because I have no clue how some words should bee written (or is that wrote?)! It’s not fun when people get mad or upset (offended) with you when the thing you wrote does not mean the same thing as you meant. The most frustrating part however is that when someone has a problem with something and I know the answer but don’t have a clue how to explain it and therefore cannot help!

Hey, it's not my fault, who would have thought that the lid could pop off that easily?
Look on the bright side though, at least the Jar didn't break, if it had we really would have been in trouble.

With all due respect Jorden, if there's nothing in the nothing jar and you turned it upside down, what would spew forth??? Nothing. If nothing comes out then the Nothing Jar must still contain the same contents that it did before you turned it upside down.

That being said, I figure that Nothing Jar is getting pretty full. We'll need to find something bigger to put nothing in or you won't be able to get nothing in the jar. (that wasn't a double negative by the way.)

I propose the Nothing Jug be spawned...
