      Joel Radical...LOL

Now I'm a lot more radical than Joel is That's why I don't think that politics and religion are a good mixer in any social setting. Just leads to arguments and hurt feelings.

Oh heck Joel is just a good old boy who likes "The Dukes of Hazard" and other down to earth stuff.

Anyway, the Soap Box is the place to vent or express "whatever" and you just did that Brian. Hope your feeling better after venting a bit

Political stuff I can handle, but the stuff that Guru does wears thin in a hurry. I hope that Guru never has anything important to say because I'm sure that most people just tune out his posts completely, now. It's like the boy who cried wolf (except in this case it's the boy who cried "nothing"). Pretty soon you have nobody listening.

OK, here is where everyone says "but this is TSB and anything goes" or "hey, I like it, it's what gives TSB it's charm". Well, I still hold the view I have held since I first logged on to MURC. Before you hit the submit button ask yourself one question, "Will anyone care?". If the answer is no do us a favor and don't submit the post. I know that this is too much to ask and that's why I just ignore a select few people. I just wish that there was a setting that would keep their inane posts from cluttering up my screen. As usual nothing will change, but I feel better.

        Have a nice day .

Look who woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! I have always thought this is the place where you can post stupid link's jokes and other stuff that do not belong in the other forums! Maybe I mised something? And as far as Joel's political posts I have no problem with them and I dont think anyone else should have either!!!! If you don't care fine don't read them!

Y'know, that last little diatribe on the "Nothing Jar" reminds me of the old Infocom game "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", in which you had to remove your own common sense unit from your brain in order to be able to have "tea" and "no tea" at the same time.

Here is a link to the actual game that you can play via Java. It was truely fun adn funny. I remember the game came with a "don't panic" button and some other odds and ends I can't remember. Wish I had kept it.

don't bother playing it, you will just go mad with frustration as you can't save or restore your game. Too bad, it would have been fun to play it since I never finished it when I was twelve.

Well, at least there were a few interesting posts in this topic.

Dunno why, (maybe because Matrox hasn't given us anything really good to talk about lately?), but the whole of the Fori appear to be a little boring lately. Mostly the same old, same old.. going on and on and.. (like the Engergizer rabbit).

I'll withhold my judgement on the political views posts and the pointless posts. The thing really bothering me is the lack of anything that seems truly interesting or entertaining here lately (or at least, not much of it).

BTW- Without saying whether I care or not about the political posts- that's another of those that most Americans (anyway) at least could care less about. It's not like we get enough of it on the television, in the newspapers, and plastered all over the local political party signs in the first place..

LOL. I probably could've worded part of the last sentence (paragraph?) better. I just know it's gonna get some good replies, hehe.
