About RMA:

I don't know if I can RMA it directly to IBM and using the waranty from the place we ordered it means about a month before i se a new one.

And i dont like the thought of using a Samsung for that time

Does IBM Sweden have a number?
The IBM HD warranty is very good.
They will usualy cross-ship so you can copy from the dammaged drive before sending it in.

I like the whole "Adoption" bit... you just hint that he was adopted and accidentally leave suspicious items around for him to find... Its cruel yes... but it works great.

I have to send the drive to the country where the dutchmen dwells.

That'l take about a week and then they'l play with it for another week and then they send me a new unit wich also takes a week.
