You're probably closer to me than to Kruzin hehe. It's like 900 miles or so
I checked out my road on mapquest. They have it wrongly named as slip dock road but I am surprised at the level of detail.
I live at about where the k in Slip Dock is on the following link http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_f...a%28O%14%17%15 MWJQR%3dS%13_lwa20%3d2a1f%28%11E%3aaaq485%3d%3dyld r15%3d0,rb%3b7%3bb5m-r2qfj5m%3be10h%284&pcat=
The correct name is Sirgany Drive (as if anyone cares) SlipDock is a dead end road between Sirgany and SeaBreeze.

Now this takes the cake.... I have a mess of painted and soft shelled turtles, chameleons (American anole), skinks, various snakes, otters and gators crawling around outside, but this morning I stepped out to be greeted by a 2' long Iguana sunning himself on the rocks.
I couldn't catch him but did get plenty of pics (awaiting film processing)...
In the meantime here's a video still
If he returns think I'll name him Herbie

If you startle them, off they go in a heartbeat, but if approached slowly they think you can't see them and thus stay put. This action follows their native ambush hunting stategy.
BTW this one was ~10' (~3 meters) from me.
