Actually the guy at emulators.com usually DOES know what he's talking about quite well. But then he's also a very opinionated guy that often forgets to stop and get's too far when ranting (which seems to be a favourite thing for him to do...)
Someone used the term "gifted @sshole" for another person very much like him and I think he's got this quite to the point.Comment

Yes, that´s also what I think... he comes up with the driver problems (which I believe do exist, or existed), but he doesn´t appreciate a video card as a whole... I mean, ATI is great in 2D and DVD... and the ATI Radeon is a good 3D card also. He forgets ATI´s good points, as easily as he forgets Nvidia´s bad points...

I don´t have a very consistant, in-depth opinion about ATI, I just threw the article in this thread, which I thought was somewhat appropriate.
