Wombat, as for Germany causing WW2 due to some *terrorist* regime I can second you. But on WW1 I guess you'll need some further history lessons to understand the whole complexity of this issue (but then you're so far away and probably have no idea of those complex geographic and historic relations). Blaiming solely the German for WW1 is as wrong as blaming solely the austrian and as blaming solely the serbian people. How old are you (hiding your birthdate)?
My response was meant zynical (is this the right word?) and I guess in the context it should've been clear (everyone SHOULD know that you can't simply do this, not even the USA). And those yountries I mentioned are widely known to quite openheartedly SUPPORT terrorism, so if there WAS something like a world-police (an often claimed thing) they really should "take care" of those.
And I guess you have not seen those reactions from quite a wide part of the palestinean people and other islamic ones, too (maybe they're hiding them in the US to not make people even more angry/hateful). They're annoying me even more than the "incident" itself, how can *anyone* go out on the streets, dance and sing and... because of such an event?
And it's unfortunately a fact that the majority of islamic people (at least the poor ones that can't afford decent education) are more uniform than people in the average western country - kinda like in the communist system where inidviduality is nearly a crime. Men are FORCED TO wear beards, women HAVE TO wear veils (is this the right word? - got it from an translator site) to make them even more uniform. Still all this propaganda should not affect your mind in a way such as to applaude to this kind of crime.
On a side-note: It's kinda annoying / embarrassing / laughable (however you want to take it) that in the actual german government the Secretary of State (Josef Fischer) is a man that has housed with known terrorists in the same house and violently attacked police-men in street fights in the 70s (even captured on TV) - and the Secretary of the Interior (Otto Schily) was known as legal adviser for people related to those terrorist groups....
