I spoke with an Afghan woman last week (at some retail outlet), and she told me that the Afghan people HATE the Taliban. According to her, the Taliban is composed of Pakis and Saudis, NOT Afghani people. From what she said, they'd welcome the forceful expellation of the Taliban. George Jr. could make himself some new friends if he does it right.

And here's another reason why they feel so justified in killing so many, in our eyes, innocent people in the US and around the world.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohamed of the British-based organization, Al-Muhajiroun, published on his organization's website on 13th September (two days after the World Trade Center attack) an interview in which he distinguished between civilian and military targets. He indicated that military and government entities were legitimate targets for Muslims to attack. On 31st August the Kuwaiti paper Al-Watan presented arguments to justify the killing of non-combatants by Muslims. The article was concerned particularly with Jewish non-combatants, but the thrust of the argument would make it applicable to any non-Muslims living in a democracy. Citizens of a democracy have voted for their government and pay taxes to it, ran the argument, therefore they can be attacked as if they were the government or military. Television news has shown us the grotesque sight of Palestinian Muslims celebrating the World Trade Center attack. They are not alone. Similar reports are coming in of grass roots Muslim celebrations in other parts of the world. In London a poster appeared outside Finsbury Park Mosque the day after the attack. It showed the remains of the World Trade Center and photos of George W. Bush and Tony Blair. The text read: Death to Bush. Death to Blair.

          hey The Rock:

"Taliban is composed of Pakis and..."

In case you just woke up and realized it was the 21st century, "Pakis" is a racist term like niggers, chinks, etcetera... The correct term is "Pakistanis" and I have a few friends from that region of the world. Your use of that word is ignorant and insulting.

Also, I understood that Ant closed discussion related to the terrorist bombing, isn't Ant the forum guru anymore?

And this, my friends, is exactly why Ant was forced to close all those threads. Way to spoil a civilized discussion.

Ant... time to get out the padlock again.

It could be that The Rock is quoting directly and therefore this would make the Afghan women a racist.
I been called a racist for quoting a Muslim directly in the past word for word.

Alright, I was reading this on the way out to work, he pissed me off royally and I just had to respond with the limited time available.

Let me put things plainly. I am not good at drawing, but if I were, I would make up a cartoon to go with this situation here.. (anyone who can draw and understands the point I'm making is welcome to draw it out for me)

FIRST FRAME: A fireman, tired from pulling bodies from the rubble of the WTC, after he sees a little girl mangled beyong recognition, utters the phrase "Damn ragheads"

SECOND FRAME: An irate, indignant woman hits him over the head and calls him a racist, as an Arab can be seen dropping a grenade in her baby stroller.

Pretty succinct, but that's what's really going on here. Anyone who cares about his own people and culture here in the west feels threatened by this. Those who care more about offending the group which harbors, hides, and often sympathises with the enemy than they do about the lives of their own children are INSANE, not to put too fine a point on it. If they were sane they would be traitors. Political correctness is, in fact, our worst enemy here. Just as The PIT quoted the radical Muslim he encountered, it is our greatest weakness.

Now, there is no excuse for attacking innocent civilians, period. Ironically, Muslim women have been particularly harassed because of their trademark headscarves. Call me a sexist if you will, but these women are not likely terrorists, and further, it takes a real coward to attack a woman like that. I have no sympathy with the ignorant attacks of vigilantes which have been carried out. They do nothing to fight the enemy, but gain him sympathy in the Islamic community.

There has been talk here of ignorance in these attacks. I used the term just now, in fact. The problem is, we are all ignorant here. Do you think Abdul down at the gas station is a terrorist mole, waiting to pounce upon an unsuspecting target? Probably not, but do you know for sure? How much do you really know about him? I would not blindly accuse him of anything, but I certainly would not blindly trust him either, especially when I have seen that the people who hijacked those planes masqueraded as friends among us for years before they struck.

While it would be ideal to be politically correct and not profile people, it really doesn't take unusual intelligence to see that, while not all Muslims are warriors of terrorist Jihad against us, all of this group of terrorists are Muslims, and most are Arabs. If we are really trying to prevent the unneccesary deaths of more innocents (which could be your loved ones), we need to stop pussyfooting around and acting like a bunch of idealistic little girls. If this indeed is war, some sacrifices must be made. We have to look closely at those who fit the profile. There are many foreign students here as well who sympathize with our enemies. At SMU, there were eight Arabian students who cheered among themselves when they saw the towers being hit. The very idea.. here they are being educated at an American university and they harbor murderous ill-will towards us all. They may not be terrorists themselves at the moment, but one would have to be stupid or blind not to see their true feelings. That's what political correctness does to us, though.. it makes us blind and stupid. It is thought control, seeking to keep us passive little sheep. If this indeed is war, Muslim foreign nationals should be deported as a precaution, and their entry into this country restricted.

I shudder when I see our government carrying on with its fastidious adherance to political correctness, because I worry that this will make each of us feel powerless to suspect someone who really is up to something. If the people running that flight school had been allowed to voice anything like their normal concerns, and had not been silenced by the lies of political correctness, it may not have been so easy for those Arabs to be trained as pilots so they could do what they did.

P.S. On a personal note, dancray, you are more offensive to me and to many than The Rock ever could have been. Based upon your logic then, you should be silenced by armies of indignant women, or does it only matter when the enemy is offended? Frankly, I don't give a damn about their feelings right now, aside from their utter sensitivity to pain when we napalm their raghead asses back to the stone age where they belong!

                      Dancray;

Sorry dude, I was not aware that Paki was a racist term. I just assumed it was short for Pakistani. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt and assuming I'm a racist. Now go away, terrorist sympathizer.

I'll do another quote I heard when we were discussing India V Pakistan test matches in England. A Pakistani said quite openly "We'll kick the shit out of the bastards" and that wasn't meaning by using the cricket ball and bat on the pitch. That meant if any fighting went off in the crowd. If I said that there would be a good a chance of being suspended and then disiplined by the managed who I work for.

Ok Kv, that was much better. Just be careful with the one sentence responses. Although I don't entirely agree with you on every point, that was written much more clearly. I do agree that we (the western world) should seriously re-think our immigration policies after this incident.

I also believe that never again will an airliner be successfully hijacked. Now that people are aware of their new methods, the passengers will not let anyone take control of their airplane.

Here is a story that may or may not be true, but it's damn good advice for anyone who's going to be flying any time soon.http://www.snopes2.com/rumors/pilot.htm . This site has been extremely slow lately, but it's worth the wait.
