One thing that would help is that children weren't brought up to hate another race. While that happens they'll never be peace.
One thing RedRed you keep over looking in some Koran translations it's the Muslim duty to fight non believers. The people who stir this up want power, the poeple doing the groundwork, the pawns are so brainwashed that believe they're doing the right thing.
If you go and look at a play ground you'll see kids of all races playing together happily. They don't care if they're black, white or brown Christian or Muslim. Now where do they get the hate from they get it from there elders.
People who want the bombing to stop should come up with another solution. Pakistan, just, is still a way of communicating with the Taliban again the key is giving up Bin Laden.

Perhaps bombing them takes care of these people:

People who want the bombing to stop should come up with another solution

Just because we don't have a good solution to the problem doesn't mean we should enact a poor one [1]. I don't think enough people have given enough thought to a good solution, because the first thing to cross many peoples' minds was "bomb them." Well, admittedly some people had differing views...they said "nuke them."

If people aren't willing to recognize the possibility of our current actions not being good, then they will never come up with a good solution. How about this one....people who want the bombing to continue should come up with reasons why it is doing us more good than harm. And try to think of realistic reasons rather than the too common "well if we kill everybody who hates us, then nobody will be left in the world to hate us" argument.

I think people in areas such as Ireland, Israel, Macedonia, and others have already tried the "kill all our enemies" approach....and look at how much peace and love they have. I just hope America can be as peaceful as those regions [2].

Joel - You probably think that a couple of well placed toys in Afghanistan will end the war. I think you are completly misguided - wrong! Bombing a 'bronze age' technology will achieve nothing. This is NOT like Iraq you wont win like that. These people wont play with american toys. They will take the bombing - and their resolve will be twice what it was before. They have seen it all before.

Let's see. The attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon occured on 9/11/01. The first bomb to drop on Afghanistan was on 10/7/01. And if I am not mistaken during that time we asked, demanded and for the most part even begged them to turn over Binny Boy croonies, but they refused saying he was their guest and a hero to Islam. Also during that time ole Binny Boy got on the airwaves and called this a war againist Islam and called for a Holy War, Islamic religious leaders called for the death on all Americans, and Anthrax tainted mail started showing up.

Doesn't look to me that anyone rushed into this decision.

BTW: What ole Binny Boy is doing now is something he has been working on for close to 20 years. He's also still pissed about the US helping to defeat the Iraqies when they invaded Kuwait(?). This is not something that has occured overnight it's been going on for a long time. It's just that we now have a leader who is willing to do something to protect the people of American instaed of wondering where he will get his next BJ from.

How could a Muslim state beliefs that contradict Christianity without you taking it as an insult? They're not calling Jesus perverted or Satanic. Do you consider Jews perverted and Satanic because they generally view Jesus as "an honorable Jew?"
