Do <B>not</b> bring up the Middle East issues here. This thread will be closed if it continues, I can guarantee it. There is an inability to discuss this issue in a mature manner.

Pit, I only brought up the Middle East because of Dogbert's "holier than thou" comment a few messages back. It reminded me of an argument I had with a Rabbi once in a cafe in Jaffa.

We were talking loudly about what gave Israel the right to consider the modern boarders as the ultimate location for the state. I mean, it was artificial creation so not why some land in Russia or even Africa. He became so flustered with me that he yelled that Israel was ultimately meant ot be right here in the Middle East because it "...says so right in the Talmud (Our people's Bible)". Then I responded, "oh, so now God is a real estate agent?!".

Well, you had to be there as it was quite intense and funny at the same time. So there, that is why I mentioned the Middle East because of the old "holier than thou" Rabbi.

I'll leave the McDonalds issue alone, and trust Wombat - he seems to have the best argument

The question I ask is how many of you people have the time to read about all these cases? I hardly know anything about world news now, too busy with work (and socialising admittedly )!

Exactly. In fact I kind of hate McD, cause I like good food...

But I still think that case was as stupid as it could get (comparable only to "trying to dry the animal in a microwave oven" cases). BTW, coffee as water can't get over the seeding point and will quite fast cool down so the point of a supposed to be hot by the majority of thinking individuals drink being too hot is IMO moot.

And az: Did you read Dancray earlier posts? Just the same ignorant yet still arrogant attitude as he had in the thread you mentioned. He even had some noticeble sympathy for the WTC assassin, still it's not right to give your child a light slap??

Also he claimed to be having wierd sex with his children which I hope Ant passed onto the appropiate authorties with his IP address. Even if was joking in his wierd sense is it worth the risk of ignoring.
