Lizzy, I got ya beat. I haven't dated anyone for more than 10 years, and not by accident. I'm off women/love for GOOD. You can only get burned so many times before you become a blackened hunk of human charcoal. Sometimes its better to be alone if you can handle it. Most people can't. You gotta have some serious mental strength (or be crazy and bitter) to go it alone. One perk: you get to know yourself a lot better than you ever thought you would. Sounds stupid, but trust me its true. Personally, I prefer to take pleasure in things that I know won't **** me over like a woman would (i.e. my car, my job, my friends).

Then again, if your the type of person that can't be alone, keep praying you find the right person and don't give up. Bitterness can become all-consuming once you give up. If I didn't have 2 small nephews and I had the guts, I would have done myself in years ago. Don't get to this point. Your too good for that. I don't know you at all, but from the little I've read here, bitterness doesn't suit you AT ALL. You have many friends on this forum for a reason, and it ain't just because your cute. Your sunshine to a lot of people here; keep it that way.
