Anyway, I do know several intelligent athletes, that have no criminal record. There are a lot of them, but the problem is that the bad ones get all the press, so no one really knows about the good ones. I will submit that more and more of the new athletes severely lack the intellect that athletes of the past did.
Things are getting worse, and quickly. Parents are sacrificing their childs education in hopes that they will be a super star athlete. Forcing their kids to spend more time in the gym, rather than in the library studying. That still doesn't make every athlete stupid. That's like saying just becuase you're a lawyers your evil. It may be true most of the time, but not always
