    Okay, fatties fess up!

    Anonymously in this MURC poll..

    Just wondered how many of us here are getting big and round sitting in front of their computers with snacks all day.. you know who you are..

    I wonder if my comments in another thread started this one up?

    250 lbs

    I think we need a body mass index as well.

    BMI = Weight in kilograms ÷ [Height in meters]^2

    Mine is 30ish.

    On the North Sea oil rigs, they don't let you fly out on the helicopters if you are over 35 on this scale...

      Here a conversion table for lbs to kg:

                I'm fat, I confess. Not "look at that fat guy" fat, but "he just took his shirt off, look at that gut!" fat.

                Need to lose about 30lbs.

                          My BMI is 44....oh wait, height SQUARED....
                          In that case I'm 26, and although I'm heavy boned I really do need to reduce my spare tire.
                          Unfortunatley my metabolism tends to adjust very fast to reduced fat or calorie intake, which leaves me with the unenviable choice between starvation or exercise.

                          Now, how does walking go again?

                              I'm a former defensive tackle in American style football, but as a 17 year old I was the smallest starting tackle on my high school team at 6' 1.5" and 265 lbs. The starting defensive tackle on the other side of our line was 6' 9" and 310 lbs, and he was only 16 at the time.
