Dogbert, I'm producing Hate, you people are the ones using foul language, calling me names, and creating the hate factor. I am just trying to get some interesting conversations going. I'll admit that I do make mistakes, I am only human, and I will admit to making those mistakes. The only thing I have seen from you is HATE HATE HATE. That is why I am praying for you. Besides most christians would say thank you for the prayer. They would actually appreciate another follower in Jesus Christ praying for them. Everyone needs prayer, its what God wanted us to do in the first place.

LM, let me try to explain this slowly.
Not everyone here is Christian and those that are, not all feel impressed when someone declares that so and so needs praying for.

Personally my soul is in good shape, if I contract a terminal disease or another form of catastrophy befalls me, I'll let you know.

politics and religion are never a good subject to discuss on a world wide forum. there are too many different religions too many different ideas that all people tend to lean there way when it comes to those topics and dont back down.

as for the religion thing, many people may be christans here and others maynot. many might be non religious all together, so i agree with sometimes when you tell someone that you are going to pray for them, its sometimes more used as an insult then it is used as a gesture. too many people are different in this world, one reason there isnt world peace.

Some people in this world need to relax.. i mean really relax. "the end of the world"? please..

and if you honestly believe that then.. why dont you enjoy life til its no longer instead of freaking out. i wish more people were layed back and enjoyed the simple things about life..

the little things are what count

              thank you

Dogbert is Jewish. He doesnt beleive Jesus Christ is the son of God or the Messiah sent for the earth's salvation.
To have you pray for him probably makes him feel about the same as you would if a devil worshipper offered to pray to Satan for your soul.

HEY, _some_ Jews believe in the Messiah... be it Jesus or Menachamendel Schnerson.

('Course in the former case, he's rumored to have been ressurected and now dwells in heaven at G-d's right hand... and in the latter case... he's GOOD AND DEAD. But hey!)

You can be Jewish and be a follower of Jesus. Experience the spiritual richness we’ve discovered as followers of the Jewish Messiah.

Bah! Christianity is just a mass delusional conspiracy steered by the Roman Catholoc Empire (and later the Illuminati) to pacify the masses and do what God (those in control) wishes. Tithes are how they fund their secret underground organizations, and they use that money to control governments, manufacturing, and even what's on TV.

                            Umfriend:

And well documented, unlike most conspiracy theories.

                            KRSESQ:

I've never been particularly fond of "Jews for Jesus". Their rhetoric is sort of diametrically opposed to what some of us think. Messiah does not abrogate or change the law - he FULFILLS the law. Jews for Jesus are very much evangelical types who happen to be Jews. Messianic Jews, on the other hand, are Jews who happen to have come to believe in a messiah. BIG difference.

I was trying to explain Jews For Jesus to my wife (Catholic). She didn't get it. She couldn't understand how someone could accept Jesus as the Messiah and not automatically be Christian.

Personally, I look for the good and common principles in ALL faiths and concentrate on those, rather than quibble over what amounts to generally insignificant differences.
