You know the difference between Europeans and Americans? We in America realize that our liberal party is dangerously incompetent to a degree which is de facto treason. There are certainly two points of view on the matter, but those who call Bush a moron are really just frustrated that they can't find any REAL dirt on him.

Gurm said it best somewhere else.. I'm not a Republican, I'm a realist.. and the Democratic party is so profoundly lacking in reality that they have thoroughly destroyed the social fabric of this country over the past 35 years. And this is something they are PROUD of! And I'm not talking about civil rights here.. they have gone to great lengths publicly and privately to destroy the fabric of Western Civilization here. We are not allowed to have a culture here that has anything to do with anything other than greed and mediocrity. I'm sick and tired of it! So many people harp on Bush and his "billionaire buddies in the oil industry" because they are thoroughly blind to their own party's flaws and corporate masters, which are much, much worse. This is why most independent thinking people here voted for Bush.. he was by far the lesser evil. (What I mean by independent thinking is, those who weren't herded like cattle in special buses to the polls because they were black or hispanic or union members or whatever other focus group democrats have zealously cultivated to achieve their coveted power.)

I would love to have a statesman run the U.S. for once, but this is impossible in a country whose only culture is money...

I couldn't have summarized US culture better myself!!!

True camaign finance reform and instant runoff voting could contribute to a more proper representation, but how would they suvive the vicious cycle???

As someone else put it, it is sometimes a choice about the lesser of two evils. It was either GWB with senior Bush being ultimately the one in control or Al Gore with Tipper with Hillary Clinton ultimately in control. Hmmmmmm.

Libertarian is still the way to go if we truly want a real change.

I'm not sure, but I think we were the first country to ratify the treaty. We've also been in a position where we sold our remaining quota to other more poluting nations.

If America was some enclosed space and the smoke wouldn't get out I don't think I'd have any problem, but what you're doing is pretty much like smoking in public places without regard to other people.

There really is a need for this sort of thing, but the people who write it need to have more sense if they expect it to be accepted.

I might actually vote for a liberal if he had some real sense and didn't expect every white male to castrate himself. I know... that's like asking a pile of vomit to be an attractive home decoration... oh, well, guess it will never happen then.

Some people call it art, most people think it's grotesque.
