I lifted my truck!
I am really happy with it. 4" Rancho w/ RS9000X shocks, 35x12.5" ProComp Mud Terrains, 17x8 Weld Rims.

It really doesn't effect anything because it was designed with my truck in mind. Actually, it has improced slightly as the shocks have a dial to adjust between very soft(position 1) and very firm(position 9). Currently I have it set for 3 which is "cadillac" like. I got the recommended size rims and tires so everything feels like normal. I never took it 4x4ing before the lift but I plan several trips next year. I did get the mud tires so they are slightly louder at freeway speeds but I expected that before I bought it.Originally posted by Guru

This is the typical response from most people about lifted trucks. Unfortunately, I am in the minority but just the same, I hate cars in general. Why do you liek computers? why do you overclock? why do you ask why? Because it is SO ****ING COOL!!!!

I am not worried abou the license plate thing, if somebody really wanted to find out my license # they could do it fairly easy. It's just a deterrent

I liked it more before the operation (then again, I'm a pussy). It's still cool though, so tell us... Exactly how many inches did that add?

Edit: And since you're obviously handicapped (see first photo), won't it be more difficult for you to get into the car now?
