I forgot Gasaraki. More of a political thriller/action adventure than anything, but way cool. Like EVA, but with Shinta relegion instead of a quasi-psychotic christian/hebrew base.

There's a new Macross (a.k.a. Robotech) series being made called Macross Zero. It's being made by a team of US and Japanese animation artisits using a combination of 2D cell animation and 3D computer animation (I assume the US artists are doing most of the 3D and the Japanese doing most of the 2D). It takes place during the world war between the Allied Government and the Anti-allied government factions before the original Macross/Robotech series took place. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In case you were curious.

Yes, but expanded upon it and added a lot of exclamation marks.

Voltron is a mix of several different anime's, edited together by Americans. They then made up their own story and viola! Voltron.

The same thing with Robotech, which is a mix of Macross and several other animes.

Oh, I got one more, great story (something beautiful about it), nice graphics and only 25 minutes:
                Hoshi No Koe.
I dont think it's available outside of japan (there's a Cinema and a directors edition (voices are different)), a "must be downloaded..."!

knirfie, afaik that's just a CGI/digital animation technology demonstration... I wish they made a series with those techniques.
