As much as I respect Dilitante, closing it was exaggerated. There are a tone of other threads which TX started that deserved to be closed but this one was just a joke.

OK,here is the scoop for all to read. I saw the post as funny, BUT a provocation as well,(knowing Tx's views) so I moved it.

this was clearly uncalled for, as I didnt just close/delete the thread outright.

Now I challenge you to give me an INTELLIGENT explanation about how my views about the ME has to do with this joke. Especially since it was sent to me on e-mail from a friend in the U.K. which has no view about the subject.

It was posted with no such explanation.

I DID explain myself in the PMs, but YOU chose not to understand any view but your own. And as far as I am concerned the contents of the PMs were for your benefit and I attempted to handle this in private. YOU wouldnt let it drop.


My position stands, the post in question was in bad taste and in imho,provocative, and the comments in the thread and in PMs killed it.

We all know that KvH can be very anti-women sometimes but I don't ever see his jokes about women being closed or debated. Actually alot of people laugh at them even though some may be offended. We all know that Brian Ellis can be very anti-American/Israeli sometimes in his post, which seems that all they are there for is to provoke others, but we don't see them getting closed or deleted. I think it just all boils down to all this politically correctness bullshit when it comes to anything about the ME.
