I need to know, if you were logged into the fori when it did that.

Moreso, if you were not logged in, log into the test forum, and see if the warning comes up all the time...

    Thanks

Well apart from xortam's issues with directX components, thats pretty much it for first phase.

Take a peak, do note the Articles forum will not be at the top upon final move.

Some things will be missing in the begining, like the who is online in irc etc. As well as some things will be tweaked as we go (forum settings, colours, occasional img or background img etc).

My time is limited currently, so minor things will wait like the irc until I get time. But putting it simply, the current version is too old, and has some bugs/security issues that need upgrading.

If there are no major issues, current ETA is this weekend.

              Whoa nelly!

Wonder if the vB devs know that WYSIWYG editing can be implemented without using an ActiveX solution... then again, maybe they aren't worried about it, as it was the least-work-needed way to do it on their side. *shrug*

Sasq ... I just lost power at my house (think today is when the power company scheduled us for shutdown to work on the lines). I'm posting this from a neighbor's house. I probably won't be able to post again for another five hours or so.

I wasn't logged into the new site when I got the ActiveX prompt. I was simply bringing up the main page ... http://main.murc.ws/ .

I don't see the glowing text because I don't execute any viral code. Why PM you ... you don't realize you're putting in that crap?! Do what you want and I'll do the same.

Read the thread I posted xortam.
it will explain a lot about your warnings in IE

I'm on the phone right now but, yeah ... I had read that thread. Still a problem. I'll recheck the new site later.

If you would have pmed me I would have removed it!

It hasn't been that much of a problem as you normally don't post in threads I'm interested in. You should know better that placing such code in your sig might cause some people problems.

I can't deal with all the script prompts right now so I probably won't be posting much until something changes on either the server side or my clients. I've got too many more important things to take care for now so I don't know when I'll be able change my side ... or if I'll even bother.

Sasq ... I tried to reply to your last PM from last night but your in-box is apparently full.

Sasq has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.
