            Shouldn't that be

            *SOON*

            *WINK*

            or something like that?

I hope they come out with a new board. I've lost a bit of my reputation in stating Matrox would have released a new card last year Hopefully I can show off my new GXXX card to all of those who weren't patient enough

Haig, if you read this, please let MURC be the first with Demo- screen-captures, I'd love to see them. Please also mention how many times per second that screen-capture can be rendered

            Regards,

Love to Pete but we all have to wait for the editors to post their review/pics etc before anything.

Okay, if we don't get an exact out of Haig, let's start speculating on something else again:
                          the name of the puppy!

I bet it will be called: Matrox XP

btw Haig, how long after the anouncement/release would it be available in The Netherlands? Matrox is going for the simultanious anouncement and release, right?

Oh well, reminds me of my childhood, waiting for the christmas presents

                              Naming ...

If it was my decision, I'd call the variants for

                              low end .... Eye Candy
                              high end .... 3D Candy

just because everybody wants some candy, right ?

Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

As I said... it seems that this is going to be most competitive autumn/winter since "Voodoo3 vs. Matrox G400 vs. ATI Rage 128 vs. Nvidia TNT2" -times on graphics card market. (and that means of course smaller prices and better performance for us, consumers. )

Nvidia is losing it's "we are the only very fast" -legend.
