Which brand Dr Mordrid???? My Sony have been running great for over a year.
The only Monitors that I have had burn up had Mitsubishi aperature grill tubes. Two in a row. last one burst in flames at work and I had to grab a fire extinguisher to put it out.
Cornerstone uses Hitachi tubes. I had one of the first 19" made by Hitachi and it still kicks butt.
