I've been using TripleHead for quite some time by way of a G400 and PCI G200, not for gaming though of course.

well according to the digitlife link on another thread the 256meg will cost $500 the 128meg $400 and i guess the 64 will be $300.hmm i could be tempted by the 256 if it has higher memory and core clocks now as i was expecting it to cost nearer to $1000

I wouldn't put any stock in any of the prices floating around, I have yet to see any pricing information.

I already use a 15" and a 19" on my G400 Max, I'll just get the 3rd 15" from my server, and voila, tripple head

Now only if I could get the money somewhere to buy a Parhelia

Definitely gonna get 2 more Samsung 240Ts. It's just a matter of doing more PAID overtime...and more skimping and saving...no more 10 viewings of Attack of the Clones at the cinemas for me now...gonna wait for the 6-disc DVD Star Wars Collector's Edition to be released in 2005 instead...

Well just a simple thought : what if matrox issued the three supposed to be cards with 3 differents dual/trial/quadral head flavor.. that is : the 64mb version would sports 2 heads, principaly aimed at a public that want a very good compromise between games and business. Second version (128MB) high end-user market with 3 heads. At last the 256MB version (lotsa $$$) would be for professional use and comes with 4 heads...or 3 heads and multi GPUs

Actually a card that can compete with NVidia's GF4Ti4600 and with only 2 heads would be enough for me. But what about NVidia's and ATI's next offering? Can this Parhelia (that we are all waiting as a messiah) pair with that? Is Matrox going to be able to speed up time to market and hit the shelves first?

We, at MURC, want quality prior to quantity. But first of all we want quality that lasts. I don't want to buy a product that will become obsolete when competitors shelve out their products (in approx 6 months later)

It seems you're more concerned about owning a card that will be long considered the top of their market versus obsolescence. I certainly don't consider my Max to be obsolete. You'll be constantly frustrated if you feel you have to own the top dog all the time. Then there are those that keep waiting on their purchase so they can own the upcoming top dog; they'll wait forever.

I'm not that kind of person. It's just that Matrox has a tendency to be so slow on shelving out products that potential clients might already have chosen another brand. My concern in fact went to Matrox, not my investment . Sorry if I didn't phrase it well.
