Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
It's dead.
there isn't going to be Parhelia II
only thing that could be coming is newer chip revision of Parhelia 512 chip. but I doubt we will see it anytime soon.
Actually the Parhelia II will feature a new headless-casting technology that removes a person's head during video conferencing. With that advanced feature of course, the price of the ParII will be way out of anyone's reach until the other vendors, like ATI and Nvidia, start supporting headless-casting technology.
To help accelerate sales, I believe they're also introducing your choice of red or black pcb.
Who says Matrox doesn't understand their customer base!!
