The hardware engineer has just told me this morning that now they are shooting for a new bandwidth target.

They want to get this thing out with 1.8 terabytes/sec memory bandwidth.

Also, they are going to need to employ a new cooling technology.

The guy said that since they are going to be processing 80 pixels per clock that the heat output will be intense.

Here is their plan. Instead of using a duster to cool the GPU, they are going with a self contained liquid cooling unit that is noiseless. It even has a bonus, see I'm told that Bacardi 151 conducts heat the best, and since it's a close unit, you can even use it to brew!

Man THAT'S innovation!!! A brewery and GPU on the same PCB. Although he said the most you can get out of it without frying the GPU is about one shot.

After talking to him though he had to goto the bathroom to vomit, and then he started humming the theme to deliverance.
