Well it seems Montreal didn't want to go golfing yet. I am surprised and happy they rebounded from game 4. Canucks are showing their Westcoast slacker attitude. They only play at the level they are capable of when behind, or when the series is on the line. What a series though. What a war! Too bad one Canadian team has to go. I hope buds and sens goes 7 as well.

How did Toronto get this far?

I hadn’t watched any of the Toronto-Ottawa series until the third and overtime periods of game six. I was less than impressed with Toronto, Ottawa was all over them. Is Belfour the only reason why the Leafs have gotten this far?

I think so Patrick, the Leafs are either too tired or just simply giving up.

I think Ottawa want the cup more than the leafs.

Belfour is the only reason why Toronto has 3 wins in the series.
But tonight is another long night of hockey. Mont/Bos and Vanc./Cal. My nerves can't much more. Ottawa killed me last night

There's no tomorrow for the losers tonight.

But tonight is another long night of hockey. Mont/Bos and Vanc./Cal.
Living on the west coast is a huge advantage when watching the playoffs. Games from back east start at 4 PM here.

I'd hate to be a hockey fan living in Newfoundland. Games from the west coast would be finishing sometime in the morning there!

Two game sevens tonight. I'd like to see the Habs pull off a victory.

And I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again...

Let's go Canucks! Douse those Flames !!!

When Cooke took the 4 minute for highsticking and Calgary scored I went back to playing solitaire in disgust calling him all the names I could think of.

So the bozo scores with less than 10 seconds left.

                On to overtime.......

                    • Bummer. I can imagine all the "what if" talks going on if Bertuzzi was playing.

                      • What great games they were last night. Boston looked out of place, but the Vanc/Cal game was excellent, fast, end to end action. Bummer that there had to be a winner and a loser!
Here's hoping that Ottawa can do what Cal and Mont did last night.

The truth of the matter is, the Canucks and Bertuzzi didn't have a good season this year. Bertuzzi never really got untracked all year, and the Canucks squeaked out a lot of overtime victories in games they had no right of winning.

Obviously I'm disappointed in how things worked out this year, but after watching the Canuck's poor play during much of the year, I'm not the least bit surprised.

Oh well, maybe the season will be salvaged for me if the Leafs get knocked out tonight.

You're sure quick on the trigger there Elie.

Well good luck to them, Philly's going to be tough this year.

But I'm going to cheer for my old team ( before the Sens arrived ) and that's Montreal. Lets hope they and Calgary can give their teams a good run.

I'm going to drown my sorrows in another beer.
