That's quite likely depending on which Canuckleheads turn up.

It is very tough being a Canuck fan. They can make it so difficult to watch the game. Even if one was a Dallas fan you would have to admit the hockey in Game 6 sucked. When the game came on last night I had better things to do....dishes, vacuuming, laundry; any of which would be more exiting than watch another game of Canucklehead brand hockey from game 6.

I will admit I finally turned the game on for the third period and that was exciting stuff. The Canucks were really lucky to escape that one. Modano's shot off the crossbar would have surely changed the game had it gone in.

    Go Trevor !!

      • My 2006/2007 Playoff Prediction.

BUF vs NYR = Not sure cause both teams are strong, but I hope Buffalo wins it in Game 7.
NJD vs OTT = Ottawa all the way in game 5.

DET vs SJS = Haven't seen either play and let's say the Sharks win it.
ANA vs VAN = Haven't seen either play but go Canucks go! *crosses fingers*

So BUF vs OTT and SJS vs VAN to then finish OTT vs VAN then OTT for the Stanley Cup.

FYI: the Wings are playing their 'swarming' game again, so that may be premature. They had the Flames tied in knots save for games 2 & 3 and cinched it in Calgary.

Meanwhile the Pistons put the Orlando Magic in an 0-2 hole in the NBA playoffs and the Tigers are 11-8 and in the hunt again.

          Life is good

Nothing is for sure in the world of sports.

BUF vs NYR = Nobody outside of NYC wants to see the Rangers win. Go Sabres!
NJD vs OTT = Gotta pull for the nation’s capital. Go Sens!

DET vs SJS = Sharks are way too strong for the Wings. Hope it’s a long rough series.
ANA vs VAN = Tough call, but obviously I'll be cheering for the Canucks.

The Wings have been playing strong. If they do make it and so do the Canucks, then I hope the Canucks can hold up.

I have been keeping an eye on the Eastern confenrence so I know what's most likely to happen there but I haven't seen any games from the Western Conference.

I predict the Cup will end up on the west coast this year. I'm just not exactly sure in which city.

                        Anaheim in 5
                        Buffalo 6
                        Ottawa in 7

with the exception of Luongo and Turco, both teams looked horrible.

Well, that might've been due to the fact that both Vancouver and Dallas have very defensive minded teams and they checked each other into the ice.

I doubt the Canucks would've got 105 points this season (107 for the Stars) if they were both "horrible" teams.

                          • Far from it - but in that first series - they both looked horrible.

Henrik, Daniel, and Naslund combined for only 4 goals in 7 games, their power play was abissimal (sp?), and Dallas wasn't even a contender and still took Vancouver to 7 games.

Then you have Anaheim with 2 strong-high scoring lines up front, 3 excellent defensemen in Pronger, Niedermayer, and Beauchemin (first two are among the games best in the last 20 years), and two very capable goalies. The Canucks were 1-3-0 against Anaheim this year.

Don't get me wrong, I would really like to see the 'Nucks pull it off, but I really don't like their chances. Especially after a tiring 7-game series.

I forgot about this thread as I've been busy with work the past week.
Funny that there were no real 1st round upsets this year..no cinderella team either. Here's hoping for a great second round and an Ottawa win
