              • Well I'm back to being stressed again. My car is failing fast. Last night I went to a friends place and boy did I ever have trouble shifting. Double clutching does absolutely nothing to help. The worst part is that the exact same problem seems to have come up again, yet I have a feeling that if I bring it in again, the guy will tellmem the same damn thing and I'll be stuck once more.

                I hate my car!

I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! • My dad is my hero.

Called both my parents up and unfortunetely my mom isn't home. But my dad always is, and I told him about the situation and no later than 30 minutes and he's already looking into getting me a used car! Of course i'd have to pay him back over time, which is NO PROBLEM. He found me a 90 Corolla LX for 1000$ and if it's any good he'll buy it for me and then I'll have to find some way to go and get it. (that's another problem)

But he's helping me out and in a big way, he's the best dad in the world. He's got such a big heart.

Anyways, enough of my problems. Didn't want to start yet another thread on this.

                    • Oh, didn't read your second post! Woo-Hoo for you! Still you should talk to the clutch place and ask for a (at least partial) refund, since they obviously didn't help at all.

Oh I will. And I'm going to try and get them to really look at it again, cause it's getting to be as bad as it was before. They haven't heard the last from me.

Glad it's working out for you. I am still waiting to get mine. I do have a ride to work 'til then so that's not hurting me too much right now. The old car has some kind of probably multiple oil leaks including the head gasket.

                          • I do have a lot of great help, but still no ride. That corolla turned out to have bad brakes and bad front bearings, but my dad is still checking out more cars. There's this 90 Mazda 323 (I think) that he's going to check out tomorrow. If worse comes to worse, he'll buy himself a vehicle and let me borrow his for a few months.

Still not in the clear, but at least I've got backup. My dad kicks ass.

                            • I would really, if at all possible, take a little time and don't rush to buy a car that might prove to be yet another POS.
