I know that. There are metabolic differences. But over a LONG period, calorie intake must EXCEED calorie output in order for weight gain to occur. That's just how the world works. It's one of the laws of thermodynamics. You can't just generate fat from nothing.
If you jog 5 miles every day, and eat celery, you WILL eventually lose weight. It may not seem like it at times, since muscle is heavier than fat... but you WILL.
