        I absolutely LOVE the scene were the soldiers can barely contain their laughter - I break into tears (from laughing) everytime I see it still

        What's the name of his wife though? Never could understand it in the german version (haven't watched the english version yet )

                no, no.. Incontinentia Buttocks is her name, and the meaning is kinda scary.. look up incontinent.

                          Oh by the way isn't that definition of the universe (as "infinite") rather flawed? Wouldn't it be better to say that it is finite but unbounded?

                              No. Just as the surface of a sphere is unbounded, it nonetheless is most definitely finite

                              The surface of a (flat A4) bit of paper is finite and bounded.

                              The surface of an infinite plane is infinite and unbounded.

                              Now extend into the third dimension and you will see...

                                That's exactly what I thought. But I think nobody knows - maybe the universe is just really, really big, but not infinite (this begs the question "what is beyond it?"), maybe it's even infinite but bounded (something I can't imagine)? Who knows?
