Arthur: Whats so unpleasant about being drunk?
Ford: Ask a glass of water.

I take very strong exception to being called English, and even more so if it is spelled witha little e. I am not English and I am ashamed of what the English have done to this world ( the rule is, if it's good, it's British; if it's bad, it's English). Although I was brought up in Scotland (and that is NOT part of England), I have spent most of my life in Switzerland, to get away from Britain, which has become a hell-hole worse than a black hole.

As for God, of course She's a She. Was She not the Mother of the Universe? It is a Judeo-Christian thing that makes Her masculine, mainly because the Jewish patriarchs could not bear the thought of her being anything else. The proof of this lies in the ten commandments. When Moses came down off the mountain carrying those stones, he declared to the Children of Israel that he had managed to persuade God to whittle the fourteen down to ten, but the bad news was that adultery was still in. If God had been a man, that would not have been the case.

                      • Everyone wants to be from south wales because:

                        a) there are no jobs
                        b) it smells like sheep
                        c) you're guarenteed grandchildren by the age of 43

                        no, wait...

                          • she's moved away, so the effect has diminished.

Lets say you have a child within 2 years of your marriage. That would make you about 25. Lets also say that this child takes after its parents and has its first child at 25. This makes you a grandparent at around 50 years of age.

                            count yourself lucky.....
