Mutz is 100% correct. I've been searching for a year or so now, haven't found anyone. I'm not surprised either. I keep trying to tell myself that nature finds it own way but sometimes hormones can block ones way of thinking.

The girl will be attractive to you, of course.
But you will be able to talk to her too.
Besides, you won't realy know if she's the girl of your dreams untill you've known her for a while.

The girl you are attracted to at first sight isn`t necesserally the girl of your dreams. Sometimes the girl of your dreams is a girl which you never looked at "with those eyes" i.e. looking at her as a girlfriend. Sometimes you find THE girl in a person that didnt knock you down with her looks... it`s the girl that knocks you down with her words and mind...

ok, let's call it love at first sight then, plus she tried to talk to, which always makes me think positively about girls, and yeah, i probably would have been able to talk to her, if i hadnt choked up like I always do, it's just that well, i hadn't actually experienced love at first sight before (plus she tried to talk to me ). (that's also why i said: well as close to it as I’ll ever find I guess)

About 15 years ago I had the hots for a woman I worked with. One if the more mature woman in the office had sussed this out and asked me if I had asked her for a date yet. When I said no, she replied a "faint heart never wooed a fair lady" (or something like that).

About 10 years ago at work, we had a temp worker visit to cover our receptionist over the xmas period. Initially I found her drab and unattractive (which she was). It was only when I started to talk to her that I found that she completely blew me away. Not sure why it would happen but just going up to her would give me the wood (no need for viagra there). No woman before or since has had such an immediate and powerful effect on me.
