Here in UK the woman gets preferential treatment.

Wow, I had no idea it can get that bad. Okay so maybe I was a little hard on this couple or on the father but that story you wrote (THE editor) really bites. You'd think by now the courts would start paying attention to the changes in society. Not all fathers are bad and not all mothers are good. But what really gets me is that the real father has to apply for visiting rights yet HER fancy man can move into the home without a problem and he could be a pedophile.

At one point not long ago, this little scenario could have been solved with a "crime of passion."

There is no way I would sit still being put in this situation. If the courts did that to me, I would kill them both, burn the house to the ground, and take my kids to some out-of-the-way corner of this planet.
