me dont mind french... can understand it... barly speek it and i can read it... but dont ask me to wright it...... my wife if fluent in frensh... i am fluent in english... so we should hit it off well.....

as for beer.. zokes youd better start stocking up ... actualy i am not much of a bear drinker but i do enjoy a labat ice every once in a while....

as for misiing the mediteranina sun ... ugg... i am not on freindly terms with the sun to begin with... i prefer the night or twighlight... my eyes are too sensetive to light.... and i love the cold..... it makes me feel comfortable........

i dont know what i will be doing untill i get there... i knowit will be an over wellming feeling.. but i think i would love to do as the pope does when he gets off a plane.... to kiss the earth..... canada is like the holy grail for me.... no no i am not going to expect instent sucsess and what not ... but anything is better than living conditions here in leb... the list is just tooo long...... but i feel soooo releaved now.... its just a matter of time.... its only a 90% so there is that 10% posibility that something might go wrong and we dont get there... but i just dont want to think about it..... mutz i know you will be chiding me for expecting too much and getting my hopes up overly much but i am to extatic to care about that at the moment......

now i think the greater problem is the software that i have.... it is ALL pirated.. (it is dificult to find somthing that is NOT pirated in leb.... even those who do sell legit copies sell more non legit copies on the side lol... yeh lebanon is the land of SW crooks... ) i have things like WinXP Pro... Office Xp pro... symantec system works 2003 pro... Avid Xpress DV 3.5 ... descreet Combustion 2.1... a load of adobe products including distiler, photoshop, AE, premier 6.... loads of Audio SW... Nuendo 2.. Cubase SX... WaveLab.. Acid Pro 4... Soundforge 6.... a shit load of DX and VST plugins and instruments.... and meny more


what do you guys sugest i do ..... i dont want to loose my software and i cant start my new life as a pirate now can i lol.... OMG its the MURC Club Of Confusion all over again.... i am seriously considering going totaly legit but there are some things i cant part with and defently cant pay for originals yet..... any sugestions....

I think the closest climate to Lebanon is in the NW Territories. Spend a winter there...

I'd take rare parts/specialty parts along, resell the rest and rebuild new rig in .ca.

As for pirated software, I thinkg you're OK for home use, but as soon you start making $$ they expect you to go legit (which is IMO correct).

You can establish business/get a job first and then gradually purchase software, while keeping warezed copies at home.

Another idea is external HDD with a hammer next to it, in case BSA knocks.

If you have room for the computer, bring it along, or at least the parts minus the case. check www.canadacomputers.com for the cheapest prices around here ( OK so they are not in Montreal) but other parts places should be relatively close.
as for the software.. put ISO's on your hard drive or something.. I can't imagine them looking through hard disks, loose CD's yes.. but I doubt they would look through a hard drive.

the music btw is 90% legit... got all the cds to proove it.... just like to listen to them off my pc rather than look for the cd and insert it ... plus the play lists.... almost alll the SW is in ISO format on my drives.... except for a cuple of CDs
