Jorden, although a personal friend of mine, has his flaws.

He has the typical European old-world arrogance. Now don't get all "oh you're starting a flame war" on me. There are simply times when Europeans get into this "you can't POSSIBLY be right about that because we're MUCH better informed politically than you PLEBIAN Americans with your CNN and Fox News" mode.

Jorden tended to get into that mode about virtually anything and everything. Still does. Problem is that here on MURC, we have one of the more enlightened crowds in the Forum Universe (kinda like the Marvel Universe, or the Star Wars Expanded Universe). This leaves precious little room for prats who are never wrong, even when they're wrong. (I, for one, will admit that I'm wrong when I'm wrong - although this happens so rarely that it's seldom necessary to contemplate it...)
