I've been watching it from the beginning of this match - missed the last two. Not impressed with the flash software - seems very hit and miss whether it updates properly and the time remaining seems to randomly screw up as well
Fritz has made rather a hash of this one though

Been talking about that in another thread. They're wondering why it takes so long. I just said close window and then click the link again.Originally posted by Rob(QG)

You guys do chess over the internet at some place?
Friday before last I had to play tohis guy who is, alright better than I am, but not so much that I should get zero out of 5 (he claims I made a draw once I don't think that is true.) Looking at the game afterwards I find I really threw it all away when I had actually solved all m prolems and took over initiative big time. I hope he opens the same next time I meet him gonna eat him raw.

Would that not depend on how the machine opens? So do you think he might opt for King's indian instead of old Ruy Lopez with the black?

Problem with playing on the Internet you don't know who you're playing. Are you playing a person or the persons pc??
A lot of cheating goes on with postal chess. "I've got the move I'll just bung it in Fritz and see what it thinks" is one comment I've heard.
