There are many clients on the market. My personal view is that Outlook and Outlook Express are too security-weak to be seriously considered. I have tried several others and found them all far-from-ideal. Which are your favourites?

I still use pine. It's light, secure, and can be accessed from anywhere, even bad dial-up. It leaves no remains on the computer I access it from.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Geez. Haven't used Pine in years
Mozilla 1.5 Mail client at the moment, for no particularly good reason...
Outlook at work of course...DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

Opera M2 (the new mail client that came with Opera 7), because of its security and unique handling of mails (it's a database system, rather than folder based, and it's actually quite logical if you can get the "email=folder" thing out of your head. But it's really a matter of taste, people either hate it, loathe it, or just can't do anything with it.).

Outlook. Only because its all I have available to me at work.
When I was in college I was stuck with Eudora. Back then I preferred Netscape's email client that came with NS 4.x Now I have no perfect web client as most of my email accounts are web based (Yahoo/MSN/Comcrap). That allows me to access it anywhere.
Ahhh, the good ole days of PINE. I still use it on occasion to check my work email remotely. Quick & easy.Go Bunny GO!

Outlook 2003 is a marked improvement over the previous versions and I like it quite a lot...it also features great compatibility with Hotmail accounts. So for who says Outlook is bad, try this latest one and then we'll talkAll work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Netscape 6, but intending to switch to Mozilla (haven't voted yet). But both are so similar...
Occasionally, I use pine, or IMP (webmail application).
I just prefer to avoid Outlook/Outlook Express for a number of reasons (security being one of them).
