Yup, -24C over here, feels like -40 though. My engine is the one suffering, I think soemthing cracked in the cooling system. It drinks 1L of coolant every 200 or so KM's.

If it's not leaking, than you've got a cracked head, or blown head gasket.
Told you not to NOS it!

                NOS, hehe, riiiight!

Dammit, and I have no money to repair or replace the damn beast. I hope it's something I can fix easily, but I gotta wait until it gets warmer, and it'll keep drinking TONS of coolant until then, I can feel wy wallet becoming anorexic.

Is the coolant discolored at all? Or just disappearing?

Zokes, have it looked at. If it is a cracked head or head gasket, you'll be looking at much worse in no time.
Check your oil fill cap or dipstick for signs of moisture (antifreeze leaves a yellow-white milky film).
Do you get white smoke out the back?
Maybe you've got a rad leak - check if it is damp around the seams or fins.

You can try some crack sealer or rad sealer- This does work sometimes as a temperary fix.

Use a portable blacklight to search out any leaks.

Coolant disappearing, not sure where. I could have 2 or 3 leaks cause I fixed one leak where the hose from the engine meets the top of the rad but it's still disappearing, could be cracked around that area. Yes, there's some white milky substance in the oil cap, still gotta check it thouroughly.

Damn, I have barely enough to make it through the month, already borrowed TOO MUCH from others and now this! I NEED this damn vehicle to get to work. So if I don't get it fixed it's gonna cost a bundle in coolant, if I do get it fixed I'll put myself in debt EVEN more, and obviously cannot afford a new or used, so basically I'm ****ed!

If you're losing a lot of coolant without obvious external leaks and your oil level hasn't increased (i.e. no large volumes of coolant filling the crankcase, just enough to contaminate the oil) you might be lucky and just have a blown head gasket.

Yeah and if replacing a head gasket can cost me less than 200$ than I can afford it, otherwise I'm screwed.

So I lose about 1L every 200km or so. Oil also decreases, but that's normal (for this car at least).

I've got a similar vehicle problem, and I know it's a head gasket.
Thing dumps oil by the gallon. For every tank of fuel, it goes through a full case of oil. 1/2 ends up on the ground, the other half in the radiator. Now that the radiator is full of more oil than coolant, it doesn't flow, so it overheats too.
Unfortunatly, I also don't have the $ to have someone else fix it, or the tools to do it myself.
