I've got no problem with subtitles, CT,HD and Das Boot are two good examples of the non-English dialog with subtitles that are more entertaining than the English tracks.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and he was reading a review from one of his buddies about the movie. I am paraphrasing:
"The theater was full half hour before the movie was going to begin. Everyone in the theater was freakish and kooky. They all had ashes on their foreheads and nobody said a word. There were no previews, the movie just started.
From almost the moment the movie started Christ gets the crap beaten out of him and continues until 3 minutes before the movie ends. It was like a torture test to see if you can endure hours of blood and guts, see who would puke first. I tried to count how many times someone was beaten, tortured, hurt etc.. but I lost interest after counting 2000 times.
This movie is extremely anti-semitic. I am catholic and I agree the movie is anti-semitic. Jews are portrayed as evil villans and they only are shown from a side profile as if to enhance there noses.(some other things were said to emphasize all of this but can't remember it all).
Many children were brought to the theater. There were tons of strollers and you could tell of the kids were barely enduring the movie. I'm sure they will have years of therapy because of this movie.
People were collapsing in the theater, stnading up and screaming and crying. Kids were crying, adults were crying.
At the end of the movie, half the people stood up and started clapping and crying like something good had happened."

That's all I can remember. I didn't want to see this movie before and this just puts the nail in the coffin for me.
Why would I want to endure hours of torture and watch someones suffering to their death
The worst part is, all of the sics ****s are going to this movie. The really ****ed , brainwashed religious people. Why would I want to sit in the movie theater with a bunch of loonies.

I was not going to see this movie, just because I hardly ever do, but it's starting to appeal to me.Join MURCs Distributed Computing effort for Rosetta@Home and help fight Alzheimers, Cancer, Mad Cow disease and rising oil prices.

If you want to know about real suffering go talk to or read about people who survived the Nazi's concentration camps or who were in Hiroshima or Nagasaki, or any of the other man-made "events of extraordinary suffering" that have happened recently enough for there to still be people who can talk about them first hand. I don't need to watch some manipulative and uncreative movie to make me feel bad about humanity thank you very much.

Oh, that torturing stuff appeals to me. Not who was or by whom though.
was cynical, but I guess I should have used an emoticon with thatJoin MURCs Distributed Computing effort for Rosetta@Home and help fight Alzheimers, Cancer, Mad Cow disease and rising oil prices.
