You can't move the shower head vertically in USA. Shower pressure gets you to the other end of the tub/cabin in Canada. Water does have alot of calcium in it in Europe (lots of place like that) wich explains why you don't have pressure and it takes time to warm up. But overall if I had to compare I'd say that europe has the best average bathing facilities I've seen so far. Of course when you happen to be in a house with calcium filter installed it's much better. And I've seen alot of different facilities : military, home, hotels, motels, just name it.

Another difference between USA and Europe is food. I wouldn't say that I hate US food (that wouldn't be polite) let's just say that I love european food. Quality and freshness of the products beat hands down what you can find in the states. Of all the countries if you love steak and fries go to Belgium...

All depends....the standard fixture found in US homes has a head mounted to a pipe that comes out of the wall that is adjustable. I have a shower head attachement that lets you take it off that pipe and move it around by a handle.

My parents house has an shower head thats on a track that you can move vertically. Its also alot more expesive then your standard shower head...so why spend the extra $$$ if it still works

All depends....I can go down the street and get fresh vegtables from a stand, and I live in the most denely populated area in the world. I have a friend from Kansas (where we get most of our meat products from) and she tells me the steak out there is world's better then what you get around where I live. Guess it all depends on what your used too....European food when I had it was alright, but nothing like what I'm used to as home

I'll have to say that Europeans can't hold a candle to Americans when it comes to Pizza though
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Talking about European Toilets....whats the deal with the "Shit shelf" that you see in Toilets? American Toilets don't have that and I remember that being a bitch to clean LOL

At least, if you do a big dump in Europe, it's covered by water. US toilets look as if they were designed by scatologists or, at least, pathologists seeking microorganisms.

true, many of the newer toilets use less water - it's a conservation thingy.
however, i didn't see much difference between NA toilets and European ones.
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

I think the main similarity between Europeans and Americans is that they both bitch about dumb little things when they are different than what they are used to.

Actually bitching used to be the main sport, around here.
Then one of the most popular bands made a song about it, and. I dont know - seems to have gone down recent years!

I think that bitching is generally a sign of people having it "ok".
They might not be entirely happy with their spouses, their income or their cars. But Generally, they are doing just fine.
Hence - bitching. 'Cause something SHOULD be wrong!!!

While we are at it: How can you (Americans) live with your power outlets? They scared the heck out of me several times when I was over there
