Lagavulin is much much different.. be prepared. But it's good.. so keep an open mind. If you liked the 12yo Glenmorangie, try the Highland Park. I've been drinking the 18yo Highland Park, and it's damned good.

I'm not sure what I like yet since I am fairly new to drinking scotch. I really like Brandy too. I've been thinking of Courvoisier XO. Decisions decisions Thanks for the tip.

I've only tried the Courvoisier VS and VSOP varieties. They are pretty good.. I'd like to try the XO as well.

Best brandy I've ever had? KWV 20-year old from S. Africa. Absolutely fantastic stuff, and because the Rand was quite weak when I was over there, it was pretty cheap in sterling terms

But seriously, try and hunt some down. I was really rather impressed - personally I would say better than the XO, but that could just be a personal taste thing.

Well I don't have any idea as of yet. I do know that I will be going back out sometime. I am going out to NJ this Sept.. When I do make it out Ill let you all know.
