Not here you wouldn't, with the ground in the sun at 60-70°C (actually, it was cooler yesterday, shade temp down to 39°C from 41°C the day before!). Actually the cotton absorbs the moisture. If you want to wick it away get nylon, polyestor or wools socks with no cotton.Originally posted by Jon P. Inghram
I wear socks with sandles because they stay cool better when it's hot, the cotton wicks the sweat out from the sole where it'd otherwise just sit there and get smelly.
