        • Had a train of thought. The tram reminded me of the old Lille ones and Lille is close to Roubaix, a great centre of cycling. Is it a velodrome?

                            • While waiting for your next one, have a look at this.

                              It has virtually the same name, and is also on an island reached by a causeway at low tide. It is St. Michael's Mount off the coast of Cornwall. I'm not able to say whether one was copied off the other, either by name or style. The castle is owned by some minor nobility but I believe the gardens there are spectacular.
