    • Just below Glen Coe, a bit further down from Ben Nevis.

Clue - there's a road that turns off the A82 and goes down through this Glen, just after Rannoch Moor.

            • Happy to oblige. I have more of Scotland but you are guessing them too easily!

This is one I took when I was visiting my future parents-in-law over the millenium (this would have been taken about the 29th of December). Another utterly beautiful place with amazing people that is worth visiting for a once in a lifetime experience.

              How good is your trigonometry?

              • The real question is how good are those distance estimates.

About the only thing roughly north of Tonga is Mata-Litu (Wallis and Futuna), Samoa, perhaps Tokelau or one of the Tuvalu islands.

                Pago Pago ?

                  • Correct. Apia, Samoa. Amazing place

From London it was a 12(?) hour flight to Los Angeles, came down over the grid as the sun was going down... wow. Then a 6 hour flight to Honalulu, then another 5-6 hours to Samoa. It really is miles away from anywhere (apart from Tonga, yes) and I would love to go again.
