I always thought the T&A was over the top in the more recent ST series (Vygr and Enterprise). I always enjoyed the eye candy but it seemed like a cheap gimmick for ratings. TOS had quite a bit of eye candy too (some of those clothes with the slit fronts were quite revealing at the time). A little T&A has long been part of the genre but it's not worth watching if it isn't at least half-way decent Sci-Fi.
