Ads are showing up in most all places. The one place I didn't see ads though was when I clicked on the the view new posts link. The resulting 'search' had no ads. I don't know if its supposed to or not.

I think we should not have ads. By "we" I mean everybody but Zokes. And he should be required to click on ads before he's allowed to hit "Submit Reply"

On a serious note:
I can probably handle the text ads, but the graphical ones really suck.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Have you seen a graphical one? here that is.
I have it set to text only is why I ask.Juu nin to iro
English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

They're likely the public service ads that show up if the google bot hasn't crawled that particular forum/thread yet.
For a graphical ad they're relatively plain, unless you've seen something other than the black text on white ones I've seen...
Edit: Just noticed, but even those are text ads.Last edited by Jessterw; 23 February 2005, 18:19.“And, remember: there's no 'I' in 'irony'†~ Merlin Mann

I can't remember if this has been mentioned before, but what about setting up some sponsored links?
I was regular on some forums recently that had sponsored links for Crucial memory, Amazon and EBay.
It paid the server hosting costs quite comfortably.Athlon XP-64/3200, 1gb PC3200, 512mb Radeon X1950Pro AGP, Dell 2005fwp, Logitech G5, IBM model M.
