I disagree, I'd say MOST movies aren't worth itOriginally posted by Jon P. InghramHmm... didn't know BT was a "file-sharing network."
And for the people downloading it, I can only say one thing "Some movies aren't worth the time to watch, even if it's free."
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Jar-Jar is Vader! Yoda gets enlarged, bleaches his skin, and becomes the Emperor! Senator Palpatine gets shrunk (and turns green, it's not explained) and becomes Yoda! Anikin gets a job as a clone psychiatrist. Obi Wan and Padme get married and have kids (Leia and Luke.) C3-PO goes insane and kills R2-D2 and then himself.no spoilers please

Well i downloaded it yesterday. I going home to watch it now. I still intend to see it in a theatre some day. I find Dan Glickman's comment bewildering considering the huge box office success the movie is garnering.P.S. You've been Spanked!

A movie like StarWars is meant for the cinema dudeOriginally posted by schmosefWell i downloaded it yesterday. I going home to watch it now. I still intend to see it in a theatre some day. I find Dan Glickman's comment bewildering considering the huge box office success the movie is garnering.
.... hold out
You wont regret it, the sound is breathtaking especially if the cinema you goto is THX certified.

Bewildering? Seriously? humpf! If you expect me to believe that, you expect me to believe that you are the most naive person on Earth. Seriously, the number of people downloading this is relatively insignificant, but the greed of billionaires should never be a surprise to anyone.Originally posted by schmosefWell i downloaded it yesterday. If you want a poor quality "work print" of this film you can go to alt.binaries.movies.shadowrealm right now and get it. I looked at a preview and the quality is so utterly poor it's pathetic, with a blurry stripe running across the mid-top of the print. I'll probably go to see this film at least once and maybe twice once the crowds have thinned out. Crowds annoy me. I remember going to see Empire Strikes Back on day 4 and the line wrapped completely around the theater. Saw Return of the Jedi on Day 1 and it was the same way. When I went to see Kingdom of Heaven Tuesday at 7:45 there were people already waiting for the midnight showing.

Bleah.. the best theaters I can go to are now totally outclassed by my home system. I'm not making this up.. I have the same speakers they use as monitors at Skywalker Ranch.Originally posted by 3dfxA movie like StarWars is meant for the cinema dude

Honestly, I enjoy watching a movie in my own house rather than going to the theater. Obviously, it is a lot more comfortable but I love the way my system sounds. It's not that great of stuff but it's good enough for the space it is in.Originally posted by KvHagedornBleah.. the best theaters I can go to are now totally outclassed by my home system. HK 210 Receiver DD5.1/DTS
HK DVD 25
Velodyne 12" sub
Velodyne Satellites
I bought my system sometime in 2001. If I ever move into a bigger house, I will probably splurge for a better setup.Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
