Are you ever going to figure it out yourself?

Anyway, since I've said too much hints, its pointless a bit anyhow...so I'll probably tell it soon. But no time now, I'm in cafe, etc. and I'd have to do something to original text file for greater "effect"

OK, this required a bit toying to make it more "spectacular", or something...it's basically the same file as in the beggining, just with a few additions. Look at them if you like...then change the extension to first 3 letters in the file. Probably you're able to open it by double-clicking...
Yes, it was a image, but not ASCII art...(random selection of letters assured it rather wasn't visible). "kzy" is "change of the line" sequence (neither k, z, or y are present in any other place), "t" is a key, shows how "bright" each letter is - or, how bright the pixel is.

      Why all this?
I was thinking about method for transmitting images to someone who has no idea how they were encoded...has no idea what the data stream is, actually...and wanted to see how hard/easy it is to decode. You don't fill me with optimism

Oh, once I had the method and was thinking about some algorithm to implement it, it turned out that there exist image format that does the same practically...so I reinvented the wheel of sorts...
BTW VJ, I've also reinvented the method this old Russian photographer used to transmit colour images (not very hard knowing how todays TVs or photograph works...), but decided that b&w would be enough for a test...(and haven't figured out yet how to transmit info which channel is represented by this particular image - although I'm thinking of using "spectrum method": looking for element that has, for example, blue spectrum, putting it somehow (diagram of atom? with number of protons/electrons? or perhaps the spectrum diagram itself?) on one image and assigning to this image a code in style of "kzy", that will be used at the beginning of each blue part of any colour image...)

Too bad I don't have scripting skills with Imagemagik (I guess it would be more than enough) to automate all of this...

Is it at least sensible, this way of encoding with given restrains?
