Not sure what you're trying to say about the surge limit, as you always want to be to the RIGHT of that line.
I'm not really trying to say anything about it, it's still a new subject to me.

Yeah but the stock ones aren't very stiff, I would imagine they make stiffer or racing sway bars for your MP3. (I thought they were called stabilizers or stabilizer bars but anyways, it doesn't matter) Just a thought.

Sweet! Sounds like a fun ride to drive. Does you LSD help when you decelerate?
    Titanium is the new bling!

They do, but getting all of the parts that they require is a big hassle, and not necessarily better. If I make the front too stiff, it will understeer more. If I make the rear too stiff, it will oversteer more. As is, it's a pretty good balance.

Well, I'm pretty sure that by default the Quaife is locked to a 1:1 ratio, but technically you make zero power and torque when you're decelerating, so the wheels aren't getting any torque for the Quaife to manage.

But FWIW, if you jack the front end of the car off the ground and spin one tire forward, the other tire will spin forward in unison.

With an open diff, turning one wheel forward will cause the other wheel to spin in reverse.

With a diff that's inferior to the Quaife, the non-spun tire may not move at all, or very little.
